Latest issue of Gloria Magazine had an article and a fashion shoot about classic style icons and I was inspired by it. These are my icons.

Wedding shopping in Helsinki

I have already featured quite a lot of wedding boutiques in this blog but now I decided to make a single post of wedding stores in Helsinki.

Shopping for shoes & clothes in Helsinki, Finland

I'm pretty sure I have complained like 1000 times how it's impossible to find anything from Helsinki or from Finland. I'm also pretty sure you all know how much I hate shopping and I'm so lazy to go out to the stores. Let me explain.

I live in Espoo and it doesn't have "a center of Espoo", like city center where all the stores are. It has Tapiola with two department stores and also some smaller

After careful consideration we decided to order our wedding flowers from Floranna. They promised to come to Seurahuone with us to see what type of flowers and which colors fit the location best, and also to put all the flowers to the church and restaurant. So we don't need to worry about the flowers at all. They will take care of it.

Zara Online

Today I heard that it's possible to order Zara's products online. But I guess it doesn't work yet in Finland? At least I didn't notice a possibility to order anything online. But I did found some nice shoes on their site. Probably you can buy these from normal Zara stores.

I've always wanted to go to an auction. I'm not sure why. I guess it's all the history behind the selling items, and all the money people are willing to spent on them. The fine arts... Important jewellery... All the drama and passion. That people spent millions of euros for things. Diamonds. Rugs. Furniture. And they fight for it! Haha. At least that's what I've seen in tv. :) I guess it would be

My veil

I guess I never remembered to post about my veil. I bought it used from a Finnish wedding forum. It's cathedral length, it has 2 tiers and its edged. It's colour is ivory, just like my dress.

Here's a photo. It looks pretty much like this one but it was originally bought from a Finnish wedding boutique.

Bridal Bow check!

I saw this photo at Ruffledblog from Martha Stewart Weddings Magazine.I just had to find out where to get this bow so I went to Fancy New York site and asked where I could get one. They answered quite quickly and now I have ordered one! Omg!
